Assistive Technology of Alaska
ATLA is the only statewide comprehensive assistive technology resource center in Alaska and holds the state's Assistive Technology Act program. It runs device demonstrations, short-term equipment loans, agency equipment loans, a reutilisation program that gives donated equipment away at no cost, AT assessments, individualised and professional training, and the Alaska Relay and TechAbility programs. It also provides free telecommunications equipment to Alaskans who are deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind or speech disabled, and partners on AgrAbility and HomeMAP.
