Family Outreach Center for Understanding Special Needs
FOCUS, based in Eagle River, provides pediatric therapy and early intervention in Southcentral Alaska. It is the Infant Learning Program grantee for Eagle River, Chugiak and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, and separately for Cordova, Valdez, Tatitlek, Chenega, Eklutna and Eyak in Prince William Sound. Services include developmental evaluation, specialized instruction, and physical, occupational and speech therapy for young children.
