Auburn Transition Leadership Institute
The Auburn Transition Leadership Institute is a unit of Auburn University that works on transition practice and policy for young people with disabilities moving from school to adult life. It runs internships, practicums and research placements for Auburn students, collects and analyses data on post-school outcomes and parent involvement, and delivers training conferences and professional development across Alabama and the wider southeast. It reports reaching over 1,200 participants a year, including teachers, counselors, job coaches, mental health professionals, students with disabilities, parents and family advocates.
