Carastar Health
Designated by the Alabama Department of Mental Health as a 310 Board, the local public authority that holds the developmental disability service coordination function for its counties. Formerly the Montgomery Area Mental Health Authority, Carastar is the community mental health center for the Montgomery region and holds the developmental disability service coordination function for its counties. It runs outpatient, crisis stabilisation, in-home intervention, day treatment and residential programs alongside case management.
