Full Life Ahead Foundation
Full Life Ahead is a Birmingham family-support organization founded in 2002 that helps people with disabilities and their families plan the move from school into adult life. It works through what it calls H.O.P.E., Helping Other People Envision achievement, and runs CoLab Studios creative sessions, the Empower Workshop series of skill-building field trips, and family camp weekends for whole families including siblings. It explicitly addresses siblings, family finances and work-life balance rather than only the person with the disability.
