Greater Etowah 310 Board (Smeltzer Education Center)
The Greater Etowah 310 Board serves people with intellectual disabilities in the Gadsden area through the Smeltzer Education Center, providing facility-based and community day habilitation, community experience services and residential services. It also trains and certifies subcontracted providers in CPR, first aid, managing aggressive behavior and rights assessments, which makes it a quality-assurance hub as well as a direct provider.
