JBS Mental Health Authority
JBS Mental Health Authority is the designated community mental health authority for Jefferson, Blount and St. Clair counties, operating outpatient clinics, an urgent care clinic and residential services from a Birmingham headquarters. Its clinic network includes the Western Mental Health Clinic in Ensley. It is the principal public behavioral health provider for adults and children in the three counties, including people with co-occurring intellectual disability and mental illness.
