First Light Community of Mobile
L'Arche Mobile was founded in 1974 as an L'Arche community in Mobile, creating homes where adults with and without intellectual disabilities shared life together. After 48 years under that name it was renamed First Light Community of Mobile. Families who remember the L'Arche name should look for First Light Community of Mobile at the same six midtown homes.
