Macon County Council Rehabilitation Activity Center (MCCR)
MCCR runs an adult day habilitation program on Macon Drive in Tuskegee, certified and monitored by the Alabama Department of Mental Health's Division of Developmental Disabilities. It operates five days a week with five hours of training a day, covering self-help, socialisation, work and adaptive skills in a setting separate from where people live. The center also provides transport to and from the program and on outings and errands, serves breakfast, lunch and snacks with dietary monitoring, and arranges twenty-four hour medication assistance supervised by a registered or licensed practical nurse. Case management is provided by East Central Mental Health.
