Alabama Regional In-Service Education Centers
Alabama's eleven Regional In-Service Education Centers are university-hosted professional development bodies funded through the Alabama State Department of Education. Each is assigned a set of city and county school systems and delivers training to teachers and administrators, including special education professional development, behavior support and inclusive practice. They serve school systems rather than families directly, so they are the nearest Alabama equivalent to a regional education service agency.
