The HANDS Program

Confirmed Profile

The HANDS Program, also trading as the Alabama Autism Assistance Program, has provided one-to-one and small-group behavioral therapy, training and consultation since 2006, and has since added teen and adult groups, the Kinect sports program and summer camps. It serves people with autism, speech and language delays, developmental delays, behavior disorders, Down syndrome, Fragile X and Rett syndrome, and states that it works from the individual rather than the diagnosis. The JP 2 Foundation scholarship helps families afford therapy.
