The Sterling Companies is a multi-county service and management organization providing residential services and education and training programs to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across northeast Alabama. It operates separately certified sites in Etowah, Cherokee, Marshall and Madison counties, including Pinnacle Homes and a Center education and training center in Cherokee County, Altus, Montis and CAT/Summit in Gadsden, and a Highlands residential program in Albertville. It is one of the largest single residential operators in the region.
