Tuscaloosa Transit Authority
The Tuscaloosa Transit Authority operates fixed-route service and a demand-response, appointment-only ADA paratransit service within the city limits of Tuscaloosa for people with physical or mental disabilities. All demand-response vehicles are wheelchair lift equipped and the fare is $2.00 per passenger per trip, with personal care attendants able to accompany passengers at no charge subject to restrictions. Riders apply using an initial ADA application obtained from the office.
