UAB Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities
The UAB Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities is Alabama's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, the state's UCEDD. It carries out interdisciplinary training, research, technical assistance and information dissemination on intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Civitan-Sparks Clinics are an integral part of the Center and are the home of Alabama's LEND training program. The Center also hosts the Region 5 Regional Autism Network.
