United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile, Inc.
UCP of Mobile is the broadest single nonprofit disability service organization in Mobile County, serving people from infancy through adulthood. It runs an Alabama Early Intervention System program for babies and toddlers, an inclusive preschool, outpatient speech, occupational and physical therapy, an adult day program, supported employment, a respite program and Camp SMILE, a long-running summer camp for children and young adults with disabilities. It also delivers CCEP childcare training to help mainstream childcare providers include children with disabilities. The organization is CARF accredited and also operates a regional office, UCP of Central Alabama, in Montgomery.
