The Arkansas Center for Independence is a Newport nonprofit providing day-to-day support to adults aged eighteen and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including people with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and autism, and with support needs ranging from mild to profound. Its day program teaches life skills, and it offers a choice of residential arrangements rather than a single housing model.
