This is Arkansas's Area Agency on Aging for Planning and Service Area VIII, covering Crawford, Franklin, Logan, Polk, Scott, Sebastian. Area Agencies on Aging are the Older Americans Act planning and service bodies for their region: they run or fund information and assistance, case management, home-delivered and congregate meals, in-home care and personal care, caregiver support, senior activity centers, transportation and the long-term care ombudsman program. They work with people aged 60 and over and with adults with disabilities, including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are aging or whose family caregivers are aging.
