Arkansas Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS)
DDS is the division of the Arkansas Department of Human Services responsible for Arkansans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and developmental delays. It runs the DDS Intake and Referral unit that is the front door to all state IDD services, administers the Community and Employment Support (CES) 1915(c) waiver, certifies CES waiver providers, licenses Early Intervention Day Treatment and Adult Developmental Day Treatment clinics, and operates the state's five Human Development Centers. DDS does not itself manage a waiver member's day-to-day services; since 2019 those are managed by the member's PASSE. The division is led by Director Jennifer Daniel Brezée.
