Services Maximizing Independent Living & Empowerment (SMILE)
SMILE is the center for independent living for Arizona's southwest corner, based in Yuma. It provides information and referral, independent living skills training, peer support, advocacy and transition services to people with all disabilities in Yuma and La Paz counties, an area with a large agricultural workforce, a substantial seasonal population and few specialist disability services.
