SMILE (Services Maximizing Independent Living and Empowerment)
SMILE is the Center for Independent Living for Yuma and La Paz counties. It provides advocacy, youth transition, help with SSI and SSDI applications and benefits navigation, a blind services program, information and referral, independent living and life skills training, peer support groups and volunteer opportunities. It works from an office in Yuma and covers the Parker area on a separate line.
