Soldier's Best Friend
Soldier's Best Friend trains service and therapeutic companion dogs for United States military veterans living with post-traumatic stress disorder or traumatic brain injury, at no cost to the veteran. Most of the dogs come from Arizona shelters and rescues, so the program places rescue dogs and veterans together. Veterans train alongside their own dog with the organization's trainers. It operates from Peoria with training locations around the state.
