Teva Community
Teva Community is a small nonprofit building supported living for nonspeaking autistic people on thirty-five acres in the Prescott National Forest, about five miles from downtown Prescott. Alongside housing it plans entrepreneurial and day programs for residents and for local autistic adults, and training programs for direct support providers. Its property includes a large lodge with a commercial kitchen, twelve bunkhouses and two bathhouses, which it intends to use for family adventure camps, educator retreats and nonprofit rentals. Planned amenities include an amphitheatre, ropes course, adaptive swings and access to hiking and nearby lakes.
