Therapeutic Riding of Tucson (TROT)
TROT has offered equine-assisted services in Tucson since 1974, working with children, adults and veterans. Common diagnoses among participants include cerebral palsy, autism, developmental delay, Down syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and anxiety. Its programs are adapted for wheelchair users through a mechanical lift that allows safe mounting. It also runs the Taste of TROT summer camp and operates on a semester calendar.
