University of Arizona Adaptive Athletics
University of Arizona Adaptive Athletics is one of the oldest and strongest collegiate adaptive sport programs in the United States and a significant reason Tucson functions as a national training destination for wheelchair athletes. It fields men's and women's wheelchair basketball, track and road racing, tennis, para swimming and golf, recruits nationally, and hosts tournaments including the national intercollegiate wheelchair basketball tournament. It sits within Campus Recreation and works alongside the Disability Resource Center.
