Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP)

Confirmed Profile

AzEIP is Arizona's statewide IDEA Part C system for infants and toddlers birth to three who have disabilities or developmental delays, and their families. DES is the Part C lead agency. Services are delivered in everyday routines and natural environments by a team, under a single Individualized Family Service Plan. AzEIP does not employ the direct service workforce itself: it contracts Team Based Early Intervention Services (TBEIS) to regional contractor agencies, and coordinates with the Division of Developmental Disabilities and the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, which retain service coordination for some eligible children.
