Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (ASDB)

Confirmed Profile

ASDB is a state agency created by Arizona's first legislature in 1912 that serves more than 2,000 children from birth to age 22 who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired, multisensory disabled or deafblind. It runs campus schools in Tucson and Phoenix, a statewide birth-to-three early childhood program that is one of the three categories of AzEIP service-providing agency, and regional cooperatives that send itinerant teachers of the deaf and teachers of the visually impaired into hundreds of local public schools so that students can stay in their home districts.
