Assist! To Independence
Assist! To Independence is a center for independent living based in Tuba City that serves tribal communities in northern Arizona rather than a set of counties. It works with people with disabilities in the Navajo Nation, the Hopi Tribe, the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe and the Kaibab Paiute Tribe, providing independent living skills training, peer support, information and referral and advocacy in a service area where distances are long and mainstream disability services are thin.
