Buddy Up for Life
Buddy Up for Life is an Arizona-founded organization that pairs people with Down syndrome with volunteer buddies for athletic and life skills programming. Its athletic side includes Buddy Up Tennis, pickleball, fitness, cardio and core, cardio dance and core yoga; its life skills side covers communication, cooking, finance, technology, safety and literacy. It runs a summer camp and a Buddy Up Connections program and has grown into a multi-chapter model with a start-a-chapter pathway.
