Northern Arizona Council of Governments Area Agency on Aging
Northern Arizona Council of Governments Area Agency on Aging is the Area Agency on Aging for Region Three under the Older Americans Act, designated by the Arizona Department of Economic Security to plan, fund and coordinate services for older adults and, in several programs, for adults with disabilities. Provides case management, home delivered and congregate meals, caregiver support, benefits counseling and the regional Long-Term Care Ombudsman across four large northern counties. It is the front door for older Arizonans and family caregivers in its counties, and it contracts with local providers rather than delivering everything itself.
