One Step Beyond, Inc.
One Step Beyond is a Peoria-based nonprofit that has run programs for people with intellectual disabilities for more than twenty years. Its programs cover culinary training, employment, life skills, health and fitness, performing and fine arts, social recreation, ice hockey and parent and guardian support. It is developing Nikki's Next Step, its first move into housing, conceived as an inclusive community rather than a group home campus.
