Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens
Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens is the Area Agency on Aging for Region Five under the Older Americans Act, designated by the Arizona Department of Economic Security to plan, fund and coordinate services for older adults and, in several programs, for adults with disabilities. Operates senior centers, Meals on Wheels and congregate nutrition, case management, caregiver support and the regional Long-Term Care Ombudsman in Pinal and Gila counties. It is the front door for older Arizonans and family caregivers in its counties, and it contracts with local providers rather than delivering everything itself.
