Camphill Communities California in Soquel is an anthroposophical life-sharing residential community in which adults with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities live, learn and work together, alongside volunteers, employees and students. It is one of a small international network of Camphill communities and the only one in northern or central California. The model, in which co-workers share households with residents rather than staffing shifts, has no equivalent elsewhere in the region.
