Community Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired
The Community Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired has served San Joaquin County since 1949 from an office on Grand Canal Boulevard in Stockton, and all of its services are free. It provides vision rehabilitation, orientation and mobility training, communication and daily living skills instruction, youth programs building confidence and goal setting, programs for adults aged 55 and over, and young adult advancement work. It is the only blindness organization based in San Joaquin County.
