Alpha Resource Center of Santa Barbara
Alpha Resource Center has supported people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Santa Barbara County since 1953. It runs the county's family resource center, helping families navigate supports from the point of a child's birth or diagnosis onward, a range of adult day and community services, and Katie's FUNd, a transition program for young people moving into adulthood. It also operates Slingshot, an art program, a thrift store, and Alpha Lifespan planning services.
