Ed Roberts Campus
The Ed Roberts Campus is a universally designed, transit-oriented building at the Ashby BART station in Berkeley, named for the disability rights leader Ed Roberts and built as a national and international model of universal access. It is not itself a service provider: it houses a cluster of disability organizations under one roof and runs the building, its meeting spaces and its public programs. Tenants include Through the Looking Glass, Toolworks, BORP, Ala Costa Centers' adult programs, DREDF and the Center for Independent Living.
