Exceptional Family Resource Center
The Exceptional Family Resource Center is San Diego County's family resource center for disability, helping families of people with all disabilities from birth through adulthood find and use services. It guides families on intake for California Early Start, special education, regional center services, SSI, In-Home Supportive Services and Medi-Cal waivers, and on supported decision-making and conservatorship, and it provides parent-to-parent peer support. Its family-facing staff are primarily parents of children or adults with disabilities.
