Futures Explored
Futures Explored was founded in Lafayette and now runs day and employment services for people with developmental disabilities across northern California from administrative offices in Concord and Pleasanton. Its programs are Community Connections, Employment and Education, Creative Arts and Media, and Personal Wellness. Its film and media program is unusual in this sector, training participants in production work rather than treating art as recreation.
