Matrix Parents at Marin CIL
Matrix is the parent training and information center and family resource center for the North Bay, now operating as Matrix Parents at Marin CIL after joining the Marin Center for Independent Living. It holds three designations at once: a Family Resource Center for children aged 0 to 3, a Family Empowerment Center for ages 3 to 22 and a federally funded Parent Training and Information Center for ages 0 to 26. It runs a free helpline, parent advisors, workshops, support groups and guidance on IEPs, special education, mental health and transition to adulthood, in English and Spanish across Marin, Napa, Solano and Sonoma counties.
