Paratransit, Inc. is the Sacramento region's specialized transport operator for people with disabilities and older adults, operating under the tagline Creating Independence Through Smart Transit. It runs ADA paratransit and community shuttles, healthcare and food shuttles, travel and mobility training so that people can learn to use fixed-route transit, vehicle maintenance services for other operators, and the Together We Feed food recovery program. It is a public benefit corporation rather than a transit district.
