Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship
Ride On teaches adaptive horseback riding to children and adults with physical, intellectual and cognitive disabilities, and also delivers physical, occupational and speech and language therapy using the movement of the horse. Founded in 1994, it has given more than 170,000 lessons and treatments and serves about 250 people each week from sites in Chatsworth and Newbury Park. It states that it is the only PATH International Premier accredited program offering both adaptive riding and physical, occupational and speech therapy in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
