Team of Advocates for Special Kids (TASK)
TASK, the Team of Advocates for Special Kids, helps families of children and young people with disabilities navigate special education, Individualized Education Programs and related services, and runs one of the few assistive technology centers in Southern California open directly to families. It reports supporting more than 3,700 families in a year and more than 5,600 workshop participants. It works from offices in Brea, Alhambra, Riverside and Spring Valley, covering Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Diego counties.
