Toolworks
Toolworks has been a Bay Area social enterprise since 1975, creating employment for people with disabilities including Deaf and hard of hearing people and people with developmental disabilities. It runs supported and competitive employment placement and training alongside its own businesses: janitorial services, Bakeworks and a recycling operation. Offices in San Francisco, Berkeley and Concord all publish videophone numbers, reflecting a substantial Deaf employment program.
