Break the Barriers
Break the Barriers in Fresno runs an inclusive gymnastics, dance, sport and performing arts center where people with and without disabilities train together in the same classes rather than in separate programs. It operates from a purpose-built facility on North Cedar Avenue and runs a performing team that tours. The fully integrated model, rather than a segregated adaptive program, is what distinguishes it and it has few equivalents anywhere in the state.
