The Independence Center is the center for independent living serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding region. It offers information and referral, peer support and self advocacy, independent living skills classes, transition services, deaf and hard of hearing and blindness and low vision services, help with SSI and SSDI benefits, accessibility tools, and home care through its healthcare at home program.
