Special Olympics Colorado
Special Olympics Colorado organizes year-round sports training and competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities across four regions, Denver, Northeast, Southeast and Western. Beyond competition it runs Unified Champion Schools, Camp Shriver, a Youth Activation Committee and Youth Summit, Athlete Leadership including Athlete Leadership University and an Athlete Leadership Council, the Young Athletes program for children, an Inclusive Health Project with ALL STAR, Train 4 Life and Wellness in Motion, and family services. The Law Enforcement Torch Run is its principal fundraising arm.
