Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF)
HCPF is Colorado's single state Medicaid agency. It runs Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid program), Child Health Plan Plus, and every Home and Community Based Services waiver in the state, including the four waivers that serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. HCPF sets the rules for Community Centered Boards, Case Management Agencies and Program Approved Service Agencies, and it is the agency that carried out Case Management Redesign. Its Office of Community Living holds day-to-day responsibility for long-term services and supports.
