Adaptive Sports Center
The Adaptive Sports Center in Crested Butte is a year-round therapeutic recreation program offering adaptive skiing, snowboarding, nordic skiing and snowshoeing in winter, and biking, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, hiking and a challenge course in summer and autumn. It runs multi-day adventure camps, including the Roger Pepper Adventure Camp for teenage burn survivors, women's sessions, and a substantial veterans and first responders program. It hosts the Adaptive Mountain Bike World Championships and the Bridges of the Butte fundraiser, and offers scholarships and lodging guidance for visiting participants.
