Connecticut Radio Information System
CRIS Radio is Connecticut's radio reading service for people who cannot read print because of blindness, low vision or another disability. Volunteers record newspapers, magazines and books, which are broadcast on a closed circuit radio system and streamed online and by app. CRISKids produces accessible audio versions of school textbooks and classroom materials for students in Connecticut schools.
