Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation
Fidelco breeds, raises and trains German Shepherd guide dogs and places them with people who are blind, at no cost to the client. It is unusual in training clients in their own home communities rather than requiring residential training at the school, and it places dogs across the United States and Canada from its Bloomfield campus. It also runs a volunteer foster puppy raising program across Connecticut.
