African Caribbean American Parents of Children with Disabilities
AFCAMP is a Hartford based parent organization serving families of color who have children with disabilities, and it holds a federal Community Parent Resource Center grant. It provides individual advocacy for families in special education and juvenile justice matters, parent leadership training, and systemic advocacy on the overrepresentation of Black and Latino students in discipline and restraint data.
